Tactical Co-Founder Visits Lebanon to Show Commitment with Rebuilding
Owner Meets with Government Ministries and Departments to Discuss Role Canadians Can Play in Rebuilding Process
Toronto, ON, Sept 22/2006/ -- Samer Kamal, Senior Partner at Tactical Connections (an international business development and consulting firm that specializes in helping companies expand into the Middle East, Western Europe and North Africa) recently returned from a trade mission to Beirut, Lebanon where he met with various members of the Lebanese government, including the Ministry of the Interior and the Department of Lebanese Redevelopment. The goal of the trade mission was to show support for Lebanon’s redevelopment in the wake of recent military conflicts, and to discuss ways that Canadians can aid in this process.
“We have been traveling to Lebanon for years. But it was upsetting to see the amount of damage sustained by the recent clashes and the personal heartache the citizens have faced,” said Mr. Kamal. “Lebanon is a beautiful country. They were still in the process of rebuilding from previous wars, and now have to start all over again.”
Mr. Kamal had a series of meetings with government officials, including the Minister of Interior and the Department of Lebanese Redevelopment. They discussed plans for rebuilding Beirut and other affected areas, as well as the role Canadians can play in the rebuilding process.

Tactical Connections proposed a Canadian-inspired model of collection, sorting and recycling for Sharjah’s growing waste problem. This proposal included business development, technical and strategic planning consulting from Tactical, as well as the implementation of a waste audit project to be conducted at the end of the calendar year.
